Eligibility
The challenge is open worldwide. Entrants under the age of majority in their country must have parental or guardian consent to enter. Void where prohibited by law.
How to enter
Teach the Hindsight Window framework in your own words, using your own stories, and credit Eric Edmeades as the author of the framework.
Your talk must run between 5 and 18 minutes, and must be posted publicly on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook tagged with both #hindsightwindow and #SpeakerNation.
You submit the link to your public post, not the video file itself. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
Multiple entries
You may submit as many links as you like. Where an entrant submits more than one, only their strongest entry is considered.
Rights granted
By entering, you grant Speaker Nation and Eric Edmeades a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to view, feature and promote your public submission for contest and marketing purposes. You keep ownership of your talk.
Judging
Entries are judged by Eric Edmeades and the Speaker Nation judging panel on the quality of the storytelling, how well the framework is taught, and adherence to these rules.
Prizes
Grand prize 1: The Speaking Academy, a five-day speaker transformation program with Eric. Value $15,000.
Grand prize 2: Speech Design Consultation, a private 60-minute session with Eric. Value $10,000.
Grand prize 3: Full Speech Breakdown of a speech you have already given. Value $10,000.
Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
Winner notification
Winners will be contacted using the details given at registration, and must be reasonably available to take up their prize and to take part in related promotion.
General conditions
Speaker Nation reserves the right to disqualify any entry that breaks these rules, and to amend these rules where it is reasonable to do so.
